Drugs charges after man’s death

Submitted by admin on Monday, 24 November 2008

Three people have appeared in court charged with supplying heroin to a 22-year-old man found dead in a lane in Llanelli at the weekend.
Police said they were continuing to investigate the death of Marcus Cleobury after he was discovered at the rear of Glanmor Terrace on Saturday.
Two men, aged 42 and 37, and a 24-year old woman, all from the Llanelli area, were before magistrates in the town.
Mr Cleobury’s mother said he was a cherished and much loved son.
Detectives still want anyone with information to contact them.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “The three people arrested in connection with the death have now been charged with the supply of heroin to the deceased.”
In a statement his mother said: “Words just don’t seem enough to describe the heartache and pain of losing my cherished, much loved son Marcus.
“The overwhelming sense of love and pride I felt for him the minute he was born is with me now and will remain with not just myself but his devoted aunties, uncle and cousins forever.”
