Man charged with importing drugs
A man from Merseyside has been charged with importing cocaine and ecstasy into the Isle of Man.
The island’s drug trafficking unit seized the Class A drugs, worth an estimated £65,000, at the Sea Terminal in Douglas on Wednesday.
The man was charged with four offences of importation and possession with intent to supply.
He appeared before Douglas Court and was remanded into custody until a further hearing on 6 January.
