New lead on drug import suspect
Detectives in Lancashire are following up a new lead after calls to a televised appeal to help catch one of their most wanted men.
Dion Kendrick Lee, 32, is suspected of involvement in importing class A drugs, guns and ammunition.
Mr Lee, from Lancaster, is believed to be living in the Netherlands.
The appeal on BBC One’s Crimewatch prompted two “interesting” calls with new information, Det Insp Martin Kane, of Lancashire police, said.
“As a result we have a new lead which we will be pursuing,” he added.
Mr Lee is wanted by officers working on Operation Greengage, an investigation into drugs, firearms and ammunition importation.
They have said that they believe people in Lancashire know where Mr Lee is.
