Nottinghamshire man on drugs and firearm charges

A Nottinghamshire man has been charged with a firearm and drugs offences after he was arrested on the A52.

The man, from East Leake was arrested in his vehicle near to the Queen’s Medical Centre on Wednesday.

He has been charged with two counts of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and the possession of cannabis.

The 28-year-old is also charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition without a certificate and is due to appear before magistrates on Friday.
